Better Employee is a lease–to–buy program designed for employees of any onboarded companies at Better Employee program. Employees can lease-to-buy products and services from a variety of categories at a fixed term by paying monthly leasing amount.
Products & Services from a variety of categories such as Electronic Devices, Home Appliances, Lifestyle and many more categories are available at the Better Employee program.
Employees from the companies registered in Myanmar which are onboarded at Better Employee program can apply “Better Employee” lease to buy program.
Currently, multiple products cannot be ordered at the same time, but you can checkout each of your order multiple times.
The service rate is 2.5% per month.
Available lease to buy tenure is 6 months and 12 months. You can choose the repayment term at your convenience.
Yes, there is an administrative fee of 1% of the product price. The admin fee needs to be paid before the collection or received the devices via WavePay Biller account and it will not be refundable.
Downpayment is mandatory to apply “Better Employee” and you can choose staring from minimum 20% down payment to maximum 70% down payment of the product price.
- Your organization must be eligible for Better Employee. (Eligible organization list is shown during the registration).
- You must have WavePay level 2 account to apply the program.
- Register your account with Name, NRC, Email, WavePay Level 2 account number and organization’s name.
- Your account is successfully submitted, and you can make your very first order.
Once you have successfully registered, you can place your order as follows:
- Login to employee.better.com.mm.
- Click the product that you want to lease-to-buy.
- Choose the Variant, Down payment amount, Repayment period, Monthly repayment amount, pick up location or delivery and check the minimum salary required amount and service charges.
- Click “Order Now.”
- Fill in the checkout form and upload required documents.
- Preview the contract and sign.
- Accept T&C and submit the order.

ID selfie is taking a selfie image of yourself holding your NRC/Passport near your face. Information on NRC/Passport must be clear and visible in the image.
Proof of Address is a receipt slip which includes your permanent address, for example Internet Bill Slip, house rental contract, first page of the bank book with your address, bank state with your address or Meter Bill Slip.
Signed contract is a lease-to-buy agreement contract which you can see on the Check Out page while you are making an order. Please read thoroughly first and sign the contract. Click “Done Signing” and download the contract.
We will inform you about your application approval status within 2 working hours after your successful lease-to-buy application via Email and SMS. You can check your order status in Better Employee website à My Account à Orders.
You can pay monthly repayment amount via Better Biller Account in WavePay. Please see below steps of how you can make payment via our Better Biller Account in WavePay.
- Click “Loan” menu under “Bill Payments” and choose “Better” logo.
- Enter Name, Order ID, NRC, and Amount and click “Continue”.
- Your monthly repayment to Better is successful and we will verify the transaction.
If your repayment is late, we will auto-deduct the monthly repayment amount from your WavePay verified phone number which is provided by you when you register at Better Employee.
We will deduct the available amount from your WavePay account and penalty charges will be applied for late repayment if repayment is not successful on lease-to-buy repayment date.
A late fee of MMK 2,000 will be charged per day and will be calculated based on the number of late days.
You may repay all your outstanding lease-to-buy amount early and we are not charging any fees. No reduction or changes in lease fees for early repayment.
We will deduct the available amount from your WavePay account. You will have a grace period of 7 days and you will need to pay the monthly repayment amount within 7 days. If you are late again, you will be charged a late fee of MMK 2,000 per day as penalty charges. For repayment through other payment channels, contact us for details.
Yes, you can apply next time after you have fully repaid the previous outstanding amount.
